Bunkers need blast valves so that they can be protected from outside effects which are normally caused by sudden changes in air pressure. In the absence of the valves, the pressure can enter the shelter thus causing substantial harm to those inside. The valves normally open so that air can pass through but when excessive pressure is detected, they close automatically. Our valves are the best in the market, specifically designed to keep your family safe while in the shelter.
We have two main types. The first one is the UeV/ESV 1 bar which has an outlet opening for civil defense shelters. It is manufactured to be used at home and at the military facilities. It has the capability of blocking out all types of explosions thereby keeping you safe and sound. The valve has been tested and approved by the Armament Technology and Procurement Group of Switzerland. The casing of the valve and its wall frame are both made from steel that has passed through a hot galvanizing process. All other components are also made from steel.
The other valve on sale is the SB- 100 Sanitation. This type of valve is basically used in ventilation pipes that serve sanitary purposes. They’re more appropriate for use in oil or water. The valve contracts when excess pressure is released during a blast. This allows only a small portion of the energy to pass through the valve and into the shelter. This is usually harmless to the occupants of the shelter and can be breathed as air.
